Some of us prefer to do our “spring” cleaning in the summer because Vancouver’s summer weather just puts us in a better mood! Believe it or not, this is a great opportunity to get your workout in too!

  • Do you have to vacuum the entire house? Do some walking lunges while you move forwards and backwards.
  • Got a mountain of laundry to do and sort? Squat, don’t bend, to pick up clothes!
  • Do you have to move a lot of books around? Bicep curl those books before you move them! Too light? Put some in a reusable to add some weight!
  • Do you need to dust a bunch of high places? Calf raises!

All it takes is a little imagination!
