Simple trick to help avoid overeating!

When you sit down to eat, do you unconsciously turn on the television or pull out your phone/tablet to get the latest news, gossip, etc.? While you wouldn’t think such distractions contribute to overeating, they can steal your focus, which then prevents you from eating slowly, chewing thoroughly and realizing when your body is actually full.

Other tips to avoid overeating include: eating frequent small meals throughout the day (to avoid strong feelings of hunger), eating a well-balanced breakfast, taking time to chew your food, and taking the time to prepare meals in advance.
