When you think of your health and fitness, you likely picture a physical form – your body or perhaps the ideal image of your body after achieving your goals. While your body plays a very large part in helping you achieve such goals, the journey to optimal health starts in your mind.
In order to attain your desired level of health and fitness you must first want it enough to ensure you have the right attitude to get started — this may require you to change the way you think. Any thoughts of “I have no time” or “maybe tomorrow” must be replaced with encouraging thoughts and a strong sense of motivation.
Your mind may prove to be your biggest challenge during workouts – putting complete focus into each exercise, reminding yourself to breathe, urging yourself to lift one more time or hold that pose for 10 more seconds.
