While it often elicits feelings of sadness, embarrassment and even anger. Good fats are an incredibly important part of a healthy diet and can actually help reduce the cholesterol levels in your blood which can lower your risk of heart disease!
Don’t get us wrong, there are of course harmful types of fat found in foods, but there are two types of unsaturated – “good” – fats: 1) monounsaturated fats, found in avocados (yum!) and olive oil and 2) polyunsaturated fats, which can be found in salmon and corn oil.
