Push-ups are a great exercise to increase your upper body strength. A push-up works your triceps, chest, shoulders and core.

If you are new to training and don’t have much upper body strength just yet, the best option would be to perform push-ups at an incline. As you progress and your upper body strength increases, you can begin to do push-ups from a lower incline, or even off of the floor.
