Did you know? Research continues to show that being physically active on a regular basis reduces morbidity and mortality rates.

Ensuring you live an active lifestyle (i.e. regular exercise) helps prevent and aids in the management of chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes and cardiovascular disease. Research has also shown that the health benefits from physical activity are dose dependent – the more often you’re active the better for your health.

Ideally, you should be physically active in some way most days of the week; however, considerable health benefits are gained from exercising between 3-4 times/week for 30-60 minutes per session. Exercise frequently now to enjoy a healthier – and longer – life!
