Some experts believe we eat with our eyes. In some cases this means that even when we are not hungry we opt to eat something because it looks delicious. In other cases it means that we opt to eat something with more colour and attractive plating as opposed to something that may not look as appetizing (but is more nutritious).

When preparing healthy meals at home, you could try incorporating veggies of various colours and consider how you put your food together (plating) to help your eyes, and therefore your mind, see your healthy meal as delicious!
