The BC Provincial Health Officer (Dr. Bonnie Henry) released a new public health order on Saturday which impacts people and businesses in Vancouver and the Fraser Valley. It includes guidance on social gatherings and group physical activities. A link to the public health order is provided below.
Notably, the order does not pertain to one-on-one physical activities such as personal training. Therefore, Body & Soul will remain open and one-on-one sessions (as well as partner sessions) will go ahead as scheduled. In an effort to ensure that everyone is comfortable in the studio, we have decided to reduce our group sessions to a maximum of two participants until February 1, 2021. We have added more group sessions throughout the week to accommodate demand and are currently in the process of contacting all of our small group clients to further discuss options and answer questions.
We want to take this opportunity to remind you of our COVID-19 Safety Protocols (link below). Please do your part in following the protocols. We have worked with various professionals to ensure these procedures will keep our clients and our staff safe during this time.
If you are not comfortable coming into the studio right now, please know that we do have other options available, including:
– Training outside: Almond Park or our new training platform located in our covered garage
– Virtual training: work out with your trainer from your home using a video link (Zoom)
– Program-to-Go: your trainer will create a program for you to follow working out on your own
Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
